Covid-19 Update

Steps We Are Taking to Keep You Safe

Updated: May 26, 2020

At Compleat Rehab & Sports Therapy, the health and safety of our patients and team members is our number one priority. In April, we closed many of our clinics in response to CDC recommendations regarding the COVID-19 virus (also called Novel Coronavirus) to help keep our patients and team members safe.

Now, that North Carolina is easing some of the restrictions of the state-wide stay-at-home order, we are excited to share that we are reopening our clinics where possible in order to provide our patients with the rehab services they need.

As of Tuesday, May 26, the following locations are open to patients with normal operating hours:

We will work to update you as soon as our Uptown clinic is reopened. In order to continue protecting your health and safety, some of our operations will change:

  1. We are regularly disinfecting areas such as door handles, door push areas, tables, chairs, other hard surfaces, bathrooms, sinks, water coolers, and other areas.
  2. We are checking the temperature of patients who come into our clinics before beginning therapy treatment. Patients with a temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit will be asked to go home.
  3. We have educated our staff members on appropriate procedures should they or a member of their household become sick, have contact with someone who is sick, or have recently traveled.
  4. We are providing facial masks to all therapists and patients who enter our facilities.
  5. We are encouraging patients to reschedule their appointments if they are sick or have any respiratory symptoms.
  6. We are limiting the number of patients and therapists that can be in our facilities at the same time, and installing social distance signage where appropriate.

If you are coming back to rehab, we look forward to seeing you! Here are some ways that you can protect yourself and help us keep all of our patients and staff healthy:

  1. Washing your hands thoroughly after going to the bathroom, after visiting crowded places, and before eating or touching your face/ mouth area. See the CDC’s recommendations on hand washing.
  2. Rescheduling your appointment if you have a fever, cough, runny nose, or other respiratory symptoms.
  3. Coughing/ sneezing into a tissue or into the crook of your elbow, and immediately washing your hands or using hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol afterwards.
  4. Follow the CDC’s guidelines for protecting yourself, your family, and others.
